Boston Green Action Salutes the All-Action Agenda of Moms Clean Air Force

In the face of the Trump Administration’s ongoing assault on environmental protections, Moms Clean Air Force remains steadfastly focused on “defending our health and environment.” In an April 17th email, Senior Manager Ali Simpson urges immediate and concerted push-back in the form of letters to Congress. “We need 2,300 more signatures to reach our goal of demanding that EPA stay true to its purpose.”

The message continues:

“We need an EPA administrator who prioritizes public health over corporate greed and polluters.

  • Gutting EPA by firing over 1,000 scientists doesn’t protect families, communities, and our shared environment; it endangers us all.
  • Refusing to enforce existing protections from power plant emissions and rolling back safeguards against deadly soot, mercury, and petrochemical pollution will deeply impact the most vulnerable among us: our children.

Our latest short video explains all the ways Zeldin has broken promises made during his confirmation hearing and is attacking important public health protections, putting everyone in the U.S. at risk.

The current assault on EPA by polluters and their allies in the White House and Congress is unprecedented. We’re seeing the agency crippled with massive funding cuts and layoffs of scientists, public health experts, and other critical staff. Protecting the environment cannot be done without these necessary resources.

Join Moms in telling lawmakers to aggressively defend EPA funding and staff. Oil and gas CEOs cannot be allowed to harm our families for their profits.”
