Boston Community Choice Electricity provides Bostonians with control over their electricity—how they power their homes and how much they pay for services. The program “is a municipal aggregation program. BCCE allows the City to secure electricity at a competitive rate on behalf of residents, community members, and small business owners. The program aims to provide affordable and renewable electricity to Boston, ensuring that energy decisions are made locally and reflect the values of Boston’s community.”
This program comes with a warning: “Beware of sophisticated scams that ask you for sensitive information or require immediate payment in the form of gift cards.
