We advocate for legislation and regulations at the municipal and state levels that reduce emissions from buildings and vehicles, protect green spaces, and promote clean water and air. We disseminate science-based information in the public interest.

Our Story
Before organizing as Boston Green Action in the spring of 2022, we were a loose cohort of climate activists. We were known to one another through our work on different climate issues with a range of intersecting advocacy groups. Some of us have been actively engaged in this work for decades; others of us are more recently involved.
We share a common commitment to reducing fossil fuel emissions, promoting environmental justice and public health, protecting the natural environment, and advancing the transition to a clean energy economy.
We work to achieve our goals by educating our fellow citizens about climate change and climate action and by supporting climate-positive policies and legislation at the municipal and state levels.
